Lacey Evans Reveals Whether She Was Called Up To The Main Roster Too Quickly

When talking to 101WKQX in Chicago, The Sassy Southern Belle vehemently denied the idea that she was called up to the main roster too soon, saying (H/T WrestleZone):

Evans was pushed right off the bat when she joined the main roster. She spent a few months merely walking out and walking back in, but once WrestleMania 35 season was over, she was the first to challenge the newly-crowned RAW Women’s Champion at the time, Becky Lynch.

Since Lynch had just been established as the face of WWE’s Women’s division, she was never going to lose that feud but it was a great starting point for Evans. In the same interview, she said that she wanted to face one of the champions and doesn’t care which one. It seems as though she’s going to get her wish as she’s expected to face Bayley at TLC for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
